When our pets are in pain, so are we. It is an awful feeling to know that your special friend is hurting, especially when there isn’t anything you can do to help them. And sometimes we don’t realize our pet is hurting. Especially as pets age, they can compensate for and hide signs of pain. It is our goal to eliminate as much pain as possible and to give your pet a better quality of life.
We also anticipate and preemptively treat pain by giving pain medication prior to procedures that we know have the potential to be painful and sending pain medication home for after the procedure.
If you think your pet may be in pain or if your pet is older and seems to just be “slowing down”, please give us a call at (803) 808-8292 to schedule a thorough exam and consultation with one of our veterinarians.
